Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every site, message and payment on StellaBase. If you break it, we may remove content, pause features or close the account, and we may report illegal activity.

Don’t sell or promote

• Anything illegal where you or your customers are, or anything that needs a license you don’t have.
• Weapons, ammunition or explosives; illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or unapproved drugs and supplements; tobacco or vaping products to anyone underage.
• Adult content or services, gambling, or get-rich-quick, pyramid or multi-level schemes.
• Counterfeit, stolen or knock-off goods, or anything that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Anything Stripe doesn’t allow, if you take card payments (see Stripe’s restricted businesses list).

Don’t mislead or harm people

• No fraud, scams, phishing, fake businesses, or pages that pretend to be another company or person.
• No fake or paid-for reviews presented as genuine, and no hiding material facts about prices, fees or terms.
• No collecting passwords, card numbers or government ID numbers through your forms. Payments go through checkout, not form fields.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that sexualizes minors.
• No sites or services directed to children under 13, and no collecting children’s information.
• No collecting medical or health records, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive data through your forms. StellaBase is not HIPAA-compliant and isn’t built to store protected health information.
• Real estate and lending: no content that states a preference or limitation based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin (Fair Housing Act).
• No donation pages for causes that don’t exist, or donations used to get around fees or rules on sales.

Email, calls and texts

• Email only people who gave you their information or have a relationship with your business. Keep the unsubscribe link and your mailing address (CAN-SPAM). Don’t import bought or scraped lists.
• Call or text only people who agreed to it, and follow the TCPA and Do-Not-Call rules.

Don’t abuse the service

• No hacking, probing or testing our security, or accessing other accounts or data that aren’t yours.
• No overloading the service, including denial-of-service attacks, flooding forms, or automated sign-ups.
• No scraping, copying or reselling StellaBase or its templates, and no malware or harmful code.
• No hosting files or content unrelated to your business website (for example file sharing or crypto mining).
